TERMS OF USE Policy

Welcome to the Lone Star Aeronuts RC Club, Inc. website (the “Site”), operated by Lone Star Aeronuts RC Club, Inc. (“Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a radio-controlled model club based in Round Rock, Texas. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, including any features, content, membership areas, event registrations, and online dues/payment processing services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Site. If you are under 18, you may only use the Site with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
To access certain features (e.g., membership portal or payments), you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Membership and Dues Payments
Membership in the Club is subject to approval and payment of applicable dues or fees as described on the Site. All payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., [Stripe/PayPal/etc.]). You agree to comply with their terms.
Dues are annual and non-refundable except under specific conditions outlined in our Refund Policy. The Board of Directors may change the dues amount in concordance with the Club Bylaws. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges. You authorize us (or our processor) to charge your payment method for dues and any applicable taxes or fees.
User Content and Conduct
You may submit content (e.g., forum posts, photos of models/events). You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Services.
You agree not to:
- Post unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Harass other users or engage in disruptive behavior.
- Use the Site for commercial purposes unrelated to the Club.
- Attempt to interfere with the Site’s security or operation.
We may remove content or terminate accounts at our discretion.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (text, logos, images, etc.) is owned by the Club or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Site and Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the Site is free of viruses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Club and its officers, directors, members, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Club from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the Site.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases, but certain provisions (e.g., liability limitations) survive.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will post the revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Williamson County, Texas.
Miscellaneous
